What is (IPX) Independent Presser Foot Control? The IPX system allows the presser foot to move down and hold the fabric before the needle penetrates the fabric. In addition, the presser foot can be controlled to stay down close to the fabric to reduce fabric movement. This dramatically improves registration on difficult designs, while allowing you to sew at increased speeds.
